Terms of Service

Last updated: September 22, 2026

These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Cognibyte Software Services Private Limited ("Cognibyte", "we", "us"). By using the site you accept them. They cover the website itself — the work we do for clients is governed by a separate signed agreement, described below.

Using this site

You may read this website, and contact us through it, for any lawful purpose. Please do not attempt to disrupt it, gain access to parts of it that are not public, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or use the contact form to send unsolicited advertising or anything unlawful.

The contact form is rate-limited and protected against automated submissions. We may decline or block submissions that appear abusive.

Our content

The design, text, graphics, logos and code of this website belong to Cognibyte or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade-mark law. The Cognibyte name and logo may not be used without our written permission.

You are welcome to read, quote briefly with attribution, and link to anything published here, including articles on our blog. You may not republish substantial parts of it as your own.

Information on this site

The content here — including articles, service descriptions and product information — is published for general information. It is not professional, legal, financial or technical advice for your particular situation, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice that accounts for your circumstances.

We try to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free, or up to date at any given moment. Product descriptions and availability may change without notice.

Engagements are separate from this site

Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing can be purchased through it. Prices, scope, timelines, payment terms and any refund arrangements are set out in the individual proposal, statement of work or agreement signed for each engagement, and that document prevails over anything said here.

Submitting the contact form does not create a contract or a client relationship. It starts a conversation.

Availability and third-party links

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, and may do so without notice.

Where we link to another organisation's website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Liability

This website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of competent jurisdiction in Maharashtra, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of this website.

Questions about these terms can be sent to info@cognibyte.in.
